RNA


RNA means Ribonucleic acid is an active element of nucleus to express coding, decoding and expression of gene. DNA and RNA both are nucleic acid. The difference of RNA from DNA in terms of physical structure is that DNA is double helix structure and RNA is single helix structure of nucleic acid.

RNA constitutes with four major macromolecule, lipid, protein and carbohydrates. Nucleic acid chain in RNA and DNA both is called nucleotide.

Like DNA, RNA also carries genetic information. Cellular organism carries genetic information by mRNA. mRNA is messenger RNA. A certain types of Virus encoded their genetic information using RNA.

Active role of RNA is catalyzing of Biological reaction, gene expression and sensing and commuting the cellular response. RNA catalyzes protein synthesis. Here, transfer RNA assembles amino acid into ribosome and ribosomal RNA make linked among the amino acid to form protein.




DNA

DNA means Di-Oxiribonucleic acid. DNA is the main element of her. DNA is found in the cell nucleus. This is nuclear DNA. But, in mitochondria it may found DNA. The DNA in mitochondria is mitocondrial DNA.

DNA is a double helix structure and each structure is bonded with other helix with phosphate sugar.
The information in DNA is stored as a code with adenine, guamnine, cytocin and thiamine.


Genetics

Genetics is a branch of biology that deals with gene, heredity in living organs and genetic variation. Though, genetics is a branch of biology, it is widely studied in other branch of life science. It is also linked with information system.

Gergor Johans Mendel at first discovered the theory of Genetics. During the research on the trait inheritance of living organs he found trait inheritance is depends on the factor is called gene.
